Vannella buffalo mozzarella is made in Marrickville with 100% Australian Buffalo milk utilising the skills and techniques Vito, our head cheesemaker has acquired during his almost 50 years as a cheese maker.
Only made with fresh milk, our buffalo mozzarella has a delightful contradiction in flavours. As a cheese it is both strong but delicate, salty on the outside and sweet inside. This stretched curd cheese is thick skinned with a tender heart - it is ideal torn over a caprese salad or enjoyed with some bread and a drizzle of olive oil.
