Scamorza affumicata is a delicious wood smoked stretched curd cheese with a delicate smoked flavour. It has a brown tinged edible rind which will develop with further drying. Perfect melted on pizza, shaved on top of risotto or as a substitute for grated cheese in any recipe.
Unlike any other smoked cheese, our Scamorza affumicata is cold smoked using Australian beechwood, which provides the delicate flavour of smoke without compromising the soft texture and mild flavour of the cheese.
